Message from the Training and Placement Officer

Welcome to our Placement Office!     At the Placement Office, We facilitate connection between the employer and the graduating students. We invite a wide range of organizations and offer services to help students discover satisfying and rewarding  career options and to make intelligent, well-informed career choices.   As per the earlier statistics our students have made excellent progress in their respective fields of engineering and technology.   All The students are advised to make every serious effort to perform well and clinch maximum number of placements.   


LKCT , a constituent and autonomous college of RGPV University has its own placement office. This office is created exclusively for facilitating students placement in various organizations before they actually graduate from the college. The Placement Office is presided over by senior faculty of the college designated as placement officer. The Placement Officer creates and maintains liaison between various Industries / Organizations and the Institution. These organizations are invited to the Institution for Campus Recruitment Program me, which commences in the seventh semester every year. Leading and prestigious organizations that have been visiting the LNCT group of colleges  in recent years include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, CTS, CSC,  CMC Ltd, G.E, Siemens, IBM, , L&T Infotech , KPIT Cummins, I-FLEX , etc.

The cell is headed by the Training & Placement Officer (TPO) Mr Dilip Singh, having more than 7 years of teaching , placements and management experience. The TPO holds independent charge and each department is represented by nominated faculty members and student representatives.

The placement season has two phases. The first phase is from June to October and the second from January through March. Excellent facilities are available for conducting campus interviews like three air conditioned seminar halls with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipments for making presentations (capacity ranging from 100 to 250 seats), huge halls for conducting tests, air conditioned conference room for conducting GD's & personal interviews, etc.
Further, the Dream Job Concept practiced by the Placement Office attracts various organizations at any point of time during the academic year. This concept also creates multiple job opportunities for the students.
Activities of the cell:
•  Deputing students for in-plant training / sponsored industrial projects.
•  Organizing aptitude and behavioral training programme to bring about an overall development, improve self-esteem and confidence level, develop better presentation skills, learn to communicate well in GD's, Mock & personal interviews, etc.
•  Visiting various corporate houses regularly, inviting them to the campus for recruitment and assisting the corporate who visit the campus for recruitment in the conduct of various tests, GD's and interviews.
•  Guiding and arranging coaching for Entrepreneurship, GRE/TOFEL, Foreign Languages, Special Skills, GATE, etc.
